AdSense "Impression Spam"

    Hi,

As you probably well know, Google doesn't like it if our AdSense ads get too many impressions "artificially" - it's not just the clicks, but also the impressions that count.

So, with a brand new website it's very hard not to generate a ton of impressions by yourself - because you're designing, checking your own pages constantly.

    Could this seem "impression spam"?

    yes, and no,

if the site is not ready, you should not be putting adsense on it anyway
its better to wait for sometime to get traffic from google, and when site is ready.

True, I tend to do that. But it's hard to determine how much "enough traffic" is. I reckoned daily 100 visits should be enough.

Get some quality traffic first then proceed to put adsense code.
