    Hey Guys,

Just wanting to know if it's against Google's TOS to use graphics around Ad units that make the ad units look distorted, but not actually changing the adsense code or suggesting the clicking of ads.

    Thanks

No it's not against the TOS if this page has any content besides that images.

There have been some conflicting reports from google. You are allowed images, but google has requested line breaks between the images and ad unit in some cases. You aren't supposed to do something to draw attention to the ad. To be safe, I'd ask google about what you are specifically doing.

The issue with combining images with adsense simply resumes to "focus stealing". If it doesn't most likely you are on the right side, and the next step to do is contacting google.

It makes a big difference if you do it right. I've used it on one of my sites and could see a difference in clickthru. The idea is to have a strip of images above your ad unit that matches up in width to the individual ad units. Like mentioned before though, this must not be the end all of your whole page.

I've addressed this before in one my other posts..dietdiscussions.com had utilized the picture above the ad, and the ad did not have any borders. Click through's went through the roof, but I pre-empted any kind of google backlash and emailed them asking whether it was ok or not. There response was to ad a border and everything would be ok.

Ok the thing is , how to add images to ads (above, near ) not to only add the images to attract the attention to the links.

We all know that we want to attention , but the gold idea is to add the images above the ads that google accept them.

So i wait for your ideas ??
