Adsense image ads suck for me!

These image ads totally suck! I advise anyone to stick to text ads. I went for the image ads to get the video ads but, when I do get a video ad they are not what my page is about. Stick to text only ads and you will get better ads, and more clicks. ( My 2 cent)

i don't get much clicks on image ads and when do i get they pay very low amount!

 

I've never used anything other than Text Ads.

Image ads and banners automatically give the impression of an advertisement and I'm sure 99% of visitors won't even look at them.

I'm pretty sure they suck for virtually everybody. I've completely disabled image ads from my site and am sticking entirely to text ads.

 

txt or image ads may change according to your web site category.

for example, image ads will not give good results for an article site but i think image ads may give good results on a pc game site

 

That does have some truth to it!
I have a money making opportunity site that has all the right image and video ads www.ckwiksearch.com the whole site is about making money so the ads show right.

 

Does this apply to other ads as well? for example text-link-ads.com ads? I'm interested to know, coz currently I have only two banner ads displayed on my sites. Should I change it to text?

 

people afraid of image ads. That's why i am not using them

 

I think it depends also depends on the layout and design of the site

 

i changed my header from text only , to text & image ad and i noticed that while i was getting less clicks i was also getting paid more.

 

image ads are just for dumbs who can't read a text link!
