I have a thought here. I have seen some advertiser that encourage people to click on their ads. Especially on banners. Since some advertisers would like someone actually click on their ads, why not just have a system for that? We can choose what kind of advertiser we want for the particular adblock. So we can label it other way than just Sponsored Links or Advertisement. What do you think? Sometimes, those banners might get high CTR, and Google might again accuse us for fraud clicks.
Google, its the bane of all our lives I think. It's almost like they have to interfere just for the sake of it. Even if you plastered a huge size 100 font on a website saying CLICK MY ADVERT, unless a person actually finds the advert of interest, they won't click anyway. It seems Google are just too keen to domineer to me.
I don't know how you can propose this...It is never alright to ask visitors to click on your adsense ads. That's just the way it is.
I've never met an advertiser who wanted their ads clicked by someone with no interest in the product. Can you give us an example?
I was under the impression it was against Adsense TOS to say anything other than, "Ads by Google" or "Sponsored Links" above your ads. Instructing people to click your ads sounds like a sure fire way to get banned to me! Go for it - lemme know how quickly google takes care of you.
Why would you want to do this anyway? All you are doing is making people like me (and millions of others) pay for clicks that dont amount to conversions. Why not spend the time thinking of a way to make a legit, profitable site instead of spending the time trying to buck the system??
I mean "some advertisers". They use animated image banner, and it rotates on its title, description, and the word "Click here" flashing. If there is many advertisers want it to be like that, it is reasonable to start a new system to solve it out. I know not all advertisers want people to click on their ads, but only advertisers that is interested apply it. NOTE: I did not mention that I want to label my ads as "Click me" or something. It's just an idea since I saw some advertiser asking for clicks using their image banner. That's it.
Unless its viral marketing.... which is still canceled out because if someone isn't interested they won't tell anyone. Meh, I guess there is none. Pointless.
I think the OP is suggesting that there might be a different category of advertiser who actually want you to click on the ads regardless, they're obviously very confident that they can convert a high percentage of visitors.
