Well, I am using adsense on my website www.moviemedias.com

I was just wondering somedays I get over 100 clicks but still make 2-3 $
Some days I get around 50 clicks and still make $5

After careful observation I found this has something to do with page ctr and ecpm

if they are high u get paid really gud for the clicks

so is there a way to increasethese 2 factors

    regards

This is the Adwords forum. You will probably get quicker responses by posting this in the Adsense forum.

    Hi,

the important factor for answering your question is the CPC (cost-per-click) or better - from a publisher's point of view - EPC (earnings-per-click). The EPC explains why sometimes you make more money with 50 clicks than on other days with 100 clicks.

In my experience, the decisive factors for the EPC are:

    - what industry are you in? EPC on financial or travel websites is a lot higher than on sports or general news websites
    - what is the quality of your content? if you have lots of editorial content, the AdSens spider gets a lot of text to chew on and can deliver high-quality ads with a good EPC. If your website is database-driven (e.g. forums) and does contain images rather than text, that will result in low-quality ads and a lower EPC.

Since these two factors are really difficult to optimize once your website is online, you should - if possible - think about this beforehand. If your website is already live, start optimizing your CTR through the placement and design of the AdSense blocks.

    Best of success, Lars
