I have a somewhat new site - sportsnewsnightly.com Some days I will get up to 1,000 impressions but I get like 1 click. It's not until recently I noticed that the ads don't have much if anything to do with my site. Why is this? How can I change it? Example: At the end of my articles I have adds, when I went to one it said "Coupons in Minneapolis" this has nothing to do with my "sports" niche. The only ads that seem to be working are the link ads. The image add on in the middle right is always the same image for me.
Try using less adsense ads. Place your 250x250 ad above Polls section. Mostly there will be no graphic ads related to article, so you can put 'text only' ads.
Checking your site, it seems to me that bottom left of your grey header would be a great place to add an Adsense Ad unit 468 x 60? You can either blend the colors of a text ad into the color (check out my free AdBlender tool - http://free-imageresizer.com/ImageResizerDownload.html) or just use image Ads
You have place 2 ads boxes in your side bar.. I will suggest you to place one adsense on top , just above content. (336*280) One in side bar (160*200) Use some ad units. If you are getting same irrelevant ads always, then you can block that advertiser from adsense dashboard.
I referred so many sites so as to accumulate much more information about adsense but since i am new in website field i want to know how it is used and when it is used.
Create an adsense account. best way to to start a blog on blogger and under setting, go to monetize tab to easy adsense account creation. After then you can use adsense codes on any site... If need more help, then create a new post.
