    Check out the new "Heat Map" that google has on the optimization page tips. It provides a visualization of the best positioning for ads. Very cool.

    Is that new?

    I just saw it today but thought it´d been there a while. It´s too early to really tell but I made some changes this morning based on what I´ve read here and also using that heat map and today my Adsense earnings seem to be higher than average. I´ve only made the changes on a few pages so I didn´t expect the difference to be huge.

    As far as I know it's new for 'G'. I've seen postings on research done on this topic before - ie where users eyes tend to linger on a page.
