wrong, the last time i looked, youtube does NOT put ads on the same page as random videos that are playing.

youtube does put ads on the same page as:
    1) videos from youtube directors.
    2) youtube video search results, because there are no videos playing on the search results pages.

so how can the o.p. in this thread be legal with the youtube/adsense tos? there is a bit of javascript for video clips that opens the video clip up in it's own window, with a dark semi-transparent background... hit the escape key, and the clip disappears, putting you back to the list of videos on the page.

that way there is no embedded video playing on the same page that has adsense ads on it... no guarantees of course, and unfortunately adsense support doesn't answer questions about specific situations anymore, so it's probably a waste of time to ask them about the legality of a page like that.

one big thing to remember with crap like what the o.p. has spammed us with out here is that video pages with no relevant text will not have good epc, because they are not targeted to any specific subject... sites like his will have a very low ecpm.

on a somewhat relevant note, i'm wondering if it's possible to put adsense ads on youtube videos that have this option:

"Features: InVideo definitionAllowing InVideo advertising means that YouTube may occasionally run transparent overlay ads on the lower portion of your video. These ads typically appear at the 15 second mark, they can be closed by the viewer if desired, and they will minimize automatically if the viewer does nothing. InVideo ads generate significantly more revenue for partners. We suggest that you enable them where possible, but it's your call to make.

You can enable InVideo advertising through the following steps:

Go to My account, then "Videos, Favorites, & Playlists."
    Click "Edit Video Info."
Check the box at the bottom of the page for "Advertising Options: Allow InVideo advertising for this video.""

Well done and good luck with the site. As far as the issue with it being copyright to scrape youtube. This is legal and there are no rules against it.

Don't know if it's illegal or not...just looks cheap to me. You aren't doing anything new accept posting up someone else's work and taking profit for any traffic it receives.

Kind of boggles my mind that people would go to your site when they can simply goto youtube.

Buddy, I have been fooling around here for so long and never needed to join DP to read something. By saying that DP had helped me doesn't mean somebody personally helped me. You can really learn from others experiences. And DP is full of such guys.
But now I am afraid of getting banned as denimal said. I have to turn that site down :(

Thx everyone for their good wishes!

Sorry if you didn't like it. It is my first website and I have really learned a lot in setting it up. I circulated it among my friends and am not sure if they use it again or not. If not, I will make another site then.

An experience is an experience, doesn't matter how mad is it. You always learn something from it. That day I got $2 in my adsense account and made me pretty excited to start this thread. I never knew so many guys would join me.

    Thanks a lot folks :)
