    Hi,

I am in aterrible situation: I have been getting a lot of traffic, making very little money.

    site is www.livesteaua.com
Around for less than 2 months
I had done a ton of promotion, quite a bit of money spent ( approx. $150.00), plus quite a few hours spent every day

    I am getting: 2300 U/V yesterday
3700 U/V today, day is not over yet

    my adsense: page impressions: 5790
    clicks: 99
    Page CTR: 1.87%
    Earnings: $11.72

Am I wrong to say that $11.72 is not appropriate for 3700 uniques?
Or is this the norm, more or less?
Is adsense the right adv on this site?
Where can I find somebody to tweak my adsense? ( eg placement, colors...)

You guys are awesome, I have learned a lot from this community and I appreciate everybody.

    Thank You .

    I forgot to add:
I have my technique, I can get as high as 30,000 U/V a day, or maybe more
    Should I ?

Well, you have 99 clicks and that's quite a bit of clicks but unfortunately, the Ads on your site are probably very very low value because of its nature.

On some of my sites, I can hit USD11 with only about 30 clicks.

So the problem probably has something to do with the Value of the AdSense Ads on your site.

I would change the layout and put ads between the images, or better yet, put google image ads between the video images. You can get a much better CTR than you're getting

On those type of websites I get the same/similar results so I'm not really sure if you can boost things up. The only way to increase the CPC value is to stuff some irrelevant text so that the ads will be more expensive, other than that I can't give you any suggestions since your ad placement seems to be ok ....

    Cheers,

Thank You Venetsian, New York is my hometown.

Should I consider anything else other than adsense?

If you're bringing the traffic to your site from stumble/digg etc then the CTR is always going to be bad however you lay it out.

For the type of site it is, 11c a click isnt bad at all.

Because of the type of site/niche you're probably not going to get much more per click, unfortunately.

    this is not bad.,

btw, how much do you expect to get ?

if you have 2300 UV/day, and only got 5700 page impression???? I have 500 UV, and getting 6000 page impression. I have hard time to get more UV but on average my visitors view 10+ pages.

There are strong chances you will get warning or account suspension from Google for using any of such techniques which produce huge traffic. There are 10s of such cases here on DP.

I would definately recommend you go for some affiliate products instead or possibly even auction ads.

you could probably find an affiliate program which provides some useful products to your customer base.

the thing is that anything over 1% click through rate is pretty good.

i would find a good affiliate program and replace your adsense ads with auction ads instead.

also do you capture the details of any people who visit your site?

you could start building a decent list of people with that many UV's a day.

I am not getting email addresses, if that's what you are talking about. You think 1% is decent?

Yes. That is not to bad for a site of that type. I did however get a public service add when i visited the site so you might want to look into the targeting.

Of course you should rasie the traffic to 30 000. That would make you 100$+/day even with the poor earnings at the moment.
