i am happy with adsense, and i think the terms are GREAT.
i also use adwords and i would like things to be clear and honest, and to get what i payed for.

    its very simple :)

If you don't like adsense terms .. then don't use them !!!!!!!!!!!

this is adsense business, adsense house, adsense rules, and adsense ads.

Recently I bought a highly promoted product and set up an adwords campaign that that person said they have had so much great success with and I had some results for a few hours and then google closed the campaign down and send me a letter and said that they don't like the clickbank product I was promoting (water 4 gas) and also mentioned that they can run or not run any ad and that there was nothing to be discussed. I had many other simular ads running on different accounts but I just cancelled them all. But so many other people advert on adwords of the same products are still running today with top positioning. Should I just put my ads back up, complain to google about it, or just tuck my tail between my legs and look for something else to promote with the all powerful google?

Is there any google competitor that even comes close to actually rivaling them?

I dont think that google banned accounts because getting traffic from social sites like digg, stumble upon.Anyone can digg our content so if some one comes to our site using sites digg it cant be a fault for getting banned. Best thing for not to banned is just dont do cheats. *Cheats = faults that your heart knows it is worng and against google tos * you'll never get banned if you're not doing any cheats.

If anyone doesn't like Google, they're free not to use them. Why the big fuss? Switch to a competitor. True, Google is the best paying one, but if you stay with them all the while whining about it, you're being childish. Can't have your cake and eat it too.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Website traffic comes from?

    1. Traffic is mostly random you read a story you follow that link to find out more.

    2. You see a advert you read it and are interested, you click the link to find out more.

    3. You gain most of your website traffic from social bookmarking like Digg or Face Book etc. Your Digg is obviously to do with your site content, and the people that click on the links are interested in the content. The Adsense ads are related to your content. Where is the problem? Why are Google banning people that gain a majority of there traffic in this way, it's not illegal it's related and only people that are interested will click the links.

    4. You purchase ad placements on other peoples websites, the ads are related to your content and adsense ads are related to your content. Again people only follow links if they desire to find out more and have an interest.

Why are google punishing people for using the above methods of marketing?

After all, it's all related. If anything this is exactly the type of visitor that I would wish to click on my adsense ad if I purchased them.

    Is it all about control?

If you have any theories please publish.

An example the link below is related to the content you will find on that particular page. If you are interested you will click the link to find out more otherwise you will not bother. Is this so wrong? Google Adsense think so.

I think I should get ready for other sources than adsense too as the rules are getting quite strict.

Normally fine, but as with all things, some people start taking advantage of it to manipulate the system. If this (linking) were done naturally, then fine, but when it's done to game the system, then I can understand why they look at it with a close eye. It seems today it's all about manipulating the system to your advantage, not rising to the top because you have something worthwhile to offer :(

Google provides you with an opportunity that you don't have to use. There are plenty of other ad revenue places out there that don't pay as well. You know why? Because they don't have the standards Google does and the ones paying per click or view know it.

I don't blame Google for wanting to server quality, relevant ads. They have the advertiser in mind.

Nice points , but still you are not banned . So i think you are over exaggerating the Google's guidelines. Don't forget they have made the web and internet a place to be over the time....

There have been PLENTY of people who have received warnings, cleaned up their act, and are still in the program. It makes a difference whether or not it's a blatant flaunting of the rules or an innocent mistake, and they can tell. So, don't make all-encompassing statements like you do above...they simply aren't true.
