The sites that I think will get good traffic and more clicks --get almost zero traffic but the sites that I least expected to perform well are the ones getting traffic and $$$ adsense. Kinda of weird, huh. Do you guys have this kind of murphy's law type of problem?
it happens. i spent about 45 minutes to build a site with 4 pages 2 years back and submitted that to few places. never done any pomotion since then and the site makes me $60+ every month
with 4 pages ? unreal ! but I think can be true lol ... I had a similar experience too like few months back I found one script ( write on php practically scrapping youtube videos based on keywords ... ) with like 2 months of leave it working when I checked the analytics status I got like X4 more visitors with nothing promotions done ! like one of most promoted site custom write content totally unique , even the pictures was hand made unique from last one ...
I got my site up and running on adsense with 2 pages of content, the revenue hasn't been doing good though.
The static or limited pages may give an attractive option to your visitor. They have a few option to leave your site and they chose to clicking your adsense ads Why they came to the site even it has a few promotional stuff and never update, maybe because it has a good content. Only visitor and Google know the truth behind your experience
