Adsense from school. 500 computers, a few IP's ?

I am running Adsense and usally also log in to check from school to check my income.

The target audiance for my website (forum) is my own school.

As I have seen, there are only a few IP's (3) provided from the ISP.

So when people from my school (6500 sudents, 500 computers) click om my adsense. Does Google see it as me clicking on my adsense?

Yup, never sign in in a public place. ONLY sign into your account from home. You are beggin for a suspension with little chance of it getting reversed.

As I understand it, Google's system doesn't just track clicks by IP. Cookies are also used as an IP only system would be too easy to abuse. Therefore clicks from behind a company proxie for example would be separated into clicks from separate people rather than be seen as fraudulent clicks from the same IP.
Well, that's what I'm hoping anyway.

Actually, he would still get a suspension. He is targeting his school which means the majority of clicks will be coming from the same IP as where he signs in.

Basically he could be going to the school computer lab and clicking on his own ads from different computers all day long. Google willview this as suspicious despite the cookies showing they are different PC's

There have been countless threads started here where people complained about a ban after signing in in their school computer lab.

True. To Google , it will seem that he has asked "a group of friends " to click his ads. 99% the account will be lost.

I could also have this problem, as there are several members at my workplace who use my website where GoogleAds are displayed. Proxy is in use, but could look bad if they were to click anything. The website isn't targetted at them, nor is it publicised at work, but I can't stop them visiting if they have found their own way there.

I will not loggin from school or any other place anymore! (its like a addiction, checking my adsense 2x or 3x a day ;))

So far they have not banned me. This has been going on for 4 months.

But, in the last week, I have had channels with alot of views and clicks, yet 0.00 income.

I don't get checks, but the money is transferd to my bank account. So I do get payed. Last time was around 3 weeks ago.

Yet my school forum has been launched 4 weeks ago. So it is not yet in the new payment cycle.

Thats when the ban would be applied so you will need to cross your fingers right before the usual "Payment in Progress"

If you want to continue long term with adsense, stop checking your account from public locations. Checking from public machines (even in schools) can only cause problems.
For starters, do you know that the systems are secure ?
How do you know that the admins don't run keyloggers ? or other ways of monitoring exactly what you're are using the school's equipment for.
Just don't do it, there are too many risks.

When you're using something to make money, security of information MUST always be considered.
It only takes one person to dislike the fact that you're doing something different and then they get jealous and problems can really start. But do to you damage they need information, deny them access to that information and there isn't a great deal they can do.
As your money making ventures get bigger (ie more and more profitable or potentially profitable) then security gets even more important.
You will never be 100% certain that you're secure on a public machine, but you can minimise the risks.
