In the terms it says you cant use ads on Sign Up pages.
If I were to open a forum with ads, would ithe registration page risk my ads being terminated?

In majority of the forum softwares, you can choose to display ads at only certain pages i.e. threads, forum listing etc.

Which forum script are you planning to use for your forum?

It's ok to have Adsense on signup/forgotpass and similar pages. As long as you have some text content it is OK.

I have been running Adsense for 2 years on 404 pages and and entire year on many forums with no problem.

    Peace,

The latest version of VB (3.7.1) allows you to specify up to 7 (i think) places for the ads to go, ranging from the header under the nav bar, to after the first post.
This is as default in the software templates.

Just don't paste ad code in header or footer file and place it in forum home, forum display and showthread/postbit templates.
