How much traffic would you need to make $100 / month on adsense in the make money or internet traffic building / website development niche.

I heard that adsense on your page increases your search rankings btw

You should already know the answer to that question if you are in the "make money or internet traffic building / website development niche".

The answer is it depends. It depends on the percentage of the traffic that clicks an ad and whatever keywords your content is targetting. In other words, this is pointless question that no one would have an exact answer to.

It depends on the source and volume of traffic and CTR... (as niche is known)

Traffic not the only factor that affect earning but also CTR and CPC
If your CTR is 10% and CPC is $1, then you need only 1000 traffic per month to earn $100

As other posters have already suggested, it is highly contingent on a number of factors... What your click through rate is, where your traffic is coming from and so forth.

I think your niche is highly competitive, so it would probably be best to take a long-term outlook and follow standard SEO practices (develop good content, get good backlinks, bookmark and more). There is a lot of useful information about SEO here and elsewhere. It may take a while to get to that $100 mark, so in the meanwhile, write good content and read up on SEO.

thx crafty blogger; I am doing that right now actually; building backlinks , mastering seo is my mission over the next year. 25+ million visitors a day would be nice lol; I was just curious because I have never used adsense before; I'm focusing on certain affiliate programs or tools anyway that will make more money than adsense anyday , thx guys

    Laser focusing your article marketing
and aim for over 1000 impressions from
    your focused and targeted promotions.

Work on your article marketing though,
as this is one of the corner stones of online marketing.

Yes, niche is key here. Not only for how many visitors you might get/need per day, but also how many people are using Adwords to promote their sites/products. If you get massive traffic, but no one is using Adwords for that market, then you will make little on Adsense.

Targeted traffic is a must. In black hat forums you have people going to each others sites and boosting thier adsense but I do not recommend this at all.

For $100/day you need at least 1000 posts with *unique* high quality content you wrote yourself (not copied from other sites, not automatically posted through RSS feeds/automatic rewriters/translators) and more than 5000 daily unique visitors. It has also to do with the niche of your site. ie. insurance and finance blogs get higher earnings per click compared to the low paying technology related sites, video portals, gaming sites etc.
And of course it is important to place the ads correctly, using colors that match your template.

$100 per day with 200 visitors...? No way!
    200 visitors per day = $3 - $6 per day at most
