Adsense for website that only has refering visitors

    Hi all,

I have a website (site A) with huge traffic but this website uses language that Google pay very low for each click. So I don't want to put my ads on this site.

I have built an English site (site B) and I put some text link on site A. When visitors click on these text link, I redirect them to site B.

Until now, I earned well with Adsense. But I don't know this way is violated Google Adsense TOS or not? Does Google ban my account in future? Because site B nearly has no visitor from Search Engine (1% from SE, 99% from site A).

    Thanks.

    Thanks for quick reply.

But I read Google Traffic TOS at https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=48182

    It writes:

To ensure a positive experience for Internet users and Google advertisers, sites displaying Google ads may not:

    * Be loaded by any software that can trigger pop-ups, redirect users to unwanted websites, modify browser settings or otherwise interfere with site navigation. It is your responsibility to ensure that no ad network or affiliate uses such methods to direct traffic to pages that contain your AdSense code.

I afraid my site violates the rule I marked in red.

Well you just have to make sure that Site B is properly explained i.e the link says what its about so the visitor does not feel tricked going to Site B.

A lot of sites don't get organic traffic and thats ok too, you will not get banned beacuse of that

I believe the TOS is referring to automatic redirects, basically where the Adsense ad wont' even show and a user is immediately thrown to another website. From what you described it's no different than referring to another website via a link click.

Yes, this is correct, redirects are against tos of Adsense. You should be fine cause you made a new site area. Still think you should put some kind of ads on the non Engrish section :)

Well, It seems OK to Google TOS to do this way. That's great news with me.
