I’m thinking about having "AdSense for search" on my web site. I just wonder how much do I earn for each search.
i had it for a while then removed it ... u get few cents not more ... i even think there is a place where they mention they could charge a fee for this kind of tool but the fee will never be more than what u earn ... it's a good tool if your site is full indexed by google and you dont have a search tool ....
If will pave the way for you to gain few extra bucks per day. I get around $1-3 per day from my blog search box. I highly recommend to have it on your site. Search box is a nice feature to have on a site or a blog.
As a site developer for clients I'm starting to implement the search as a feature for them, in the hope that I'll make a few cents a day of each. Compared to the other google revenue streams it a low earner though. One realy nice feature is that you can include multiple domains in the search so clients with multiple domains can be searched from each individual site. I'd rather not have to come up with a code solution like that! On your advanced report page google state that a fee may be charged for the searches, but so far I have never been charged anything. regards
I just added mine in yesterday and so far no searches. I didnt have a search on my site so I figured it wouldnt hurt.
I removed it from most of my sites, because the revenue gained equaled the 'fee'. I left it on one site, with little traffic, figured the revenue gained would be greater than the fee, but I then checked what people searched. It was for stuff involving activities with children. I quickly removed the last one only recently. Do check what people are searching. tom
I use it. The payout is tiny, but Google has my whole site indexed and their search algorithm is better than anything I would come up with, so it's just a good feature to have on my site.
i used it for a long time but made very little with it so i have removed it now. it was just a no-pay way of losing site readers i think.
