I'm using adsense but i never used "adsense for search" at my site.Is it giving google payment? And how do we get paid?if the visitors search and click at the result or at the results page they have to click link and buy something from that page?
I have never personally gotten much from Search AdSense...and I don't really like the AdSense for search, I much prefer the Google Coop Search and link it to my AdSense...the results pages are easier to integrate into your site rather than it being a hosted page on Google...but I am going to start an comparison between AdSense for Search and Coop Search shortly by replacing my Coop for a month or so. That is a new years plan for me in January...
cant you give examples like i have webpage about music and it is giving me 5 cent or whatever at "adsense for search"?
you can generate code for search box once you are an adsense publisher. when people make a search, they are directed to another page with ads related to their search. visitors have to click on an ad in order for the adsense publisher to get paid. its a 2 sptep process before we get paid. one is the search and other is the click on next page. not many people search and out of them, lot don't end up clicking on the ads on the next page. you can make some money form the search box if you have ton of visitors and can afford a spare space to fit in the search box
thank you sultanofseo, now i got how it works,it seems very diffucult to earn money from "adsense for search" because of it has 2 steps
I think its best for article or blog based sites since Its where people need to do some searching on your website.
I keep the Coop search not really because I make anything with it (maybe $3 a month or so) but because it's awesome, on a site with tens of thousands of pages like the one I use Coop on, it's nice to have a search engine. I'd likely use Coop even if it made nothing just because of the convenience for my visitors and myself.
Agreed, You will want your user's to stay on your website for longer by giving them the right direction rather than getting them lost with all those pages and they will then just simply leave for not being able to find what they want.
netsplit.de use a search tactic well, i always click the wrong one. good earnings doubt it! This smart ass also registered http://www.googlencr.com/googlencr.aspx before the home url was just a search engine replication, maybe they got into trouble from google and had to put not on root domain? its nice seeing others tactics sun Tzu Art of Adsense
I have seen afew folks make money with search, but not money...like I said, for me it's not money, it's a necessary site feature... Sometimes the wise web developer/owner has to make decisions not based on income, but on the user experience...
