Adsense for Search

    So there's alot of talk about ads and clicks here, but not much on the search function.

    Are there any success stories with this.. any examples of income, or best practices?

    I've recently added it onto my website wet paper news, though I'd be interested in hearing others experiences.

    CTR for AdSense for search is very low for most of the publishers. Search is only used for actually searching the website, no benefits expected.

    I'm running Joomla CMS on my website, which already comes with a search module... So what would be the benefits of using google search?

    Yea the CTR is terrible!!!

    But its not a bad addition to your site for some extra cash.

    the CTR is very bad in adsense for search. The same for link units ... I tested all.

    if you have a image based website then it is possible graphic ads to work better. if your site is text-based, then the text ads is a good choice. I have a text-based website and tested both of these 2 options in the past. The text-ads option works better for me.

    menu links are my best CTR for my site, so i would disagree with that. not tried the google for search yet

    Hello.. if i have someone insert adsense for search content in their websites or blogs, i will never search there.. i prefer to type www.google.com on my browser.. :)

    i think google ads like text ads or banner ads is better
