You only generate earnings with Adsense for Search when some clicks on an advertisement, not normal search results.
It's true. We have Google Custom Search, which includes sites on one board game, and the Adsence income is close to zero
I feel your pain man, likewise,i have not earned a dime from it since it put on my forum. Guys,is there a special way to do it that we not know of? can somebody share some knowledge.
I have had the Google adsense search on a couple of my sites as well, and have probbably earnt about $0.10 in the past 12 months. Would be interesting if anyone has had any success with it.
It's been okay for me. 218 queries, 10 clicks in the last 7 days. Made me about a buck. I have it set by default to search my own site, so I figure they're just coming back to me anyway. If they actually click the radio button to search the web, they were probably leaving my site anyway and I may as well have a shot at whatever they are searching on. The key of course is if you're loosing other clicks because people are doing queries (i.e. taking up prime ad space that you would use for higher converting ads).
