Adsense for Search - results different than google homepage

    Anybody know why the results that you get in a adsense search box are slightly different than the results you get on the google home page?

    I'm using the search the web function. Most of the websites are the same but there is the occasional few that are different.

    I don't know what you mean by "google homepage".. Of curse many people know nothing about search boxes other than that of the goole homepage..

    I mean when I plug in "monkeys" on www.google.com, I get a different set of search results from "monkeys" on my adsense search box.

    They are close to the same, the 4-8th place search results are different.

    I know what you mean.

    Yes the results are diferent... Even if you set it all up the same. I mean, the same language and the same region and all, it will still be diferent.

    I don't know why doe. Probably google doens't like to share it's own targeted listings.
