When I tried setting up adsense for search for my website the code Google gave me defaulted to having the "web" radio button selected as opposed to "www.playedonline.com" I just looked at this site: http://www.miniclip-games.net/ And they have it the other way around. It looks like they just modified the Google code and added the "checked" keyword to the other radio button. Is this against the TOS or am I missing something?
I'm wondering the same thing, see the thread I just posted: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=615985
That is a simple question Though Google never allows to modify the code, you can achieve the same result legally while generating SiteSearch code in your AdSense account. Just make "www.yoursite.com" radiobutton checked in the preview. Resulting HTML will be with "checked" property in the right place .
which would probably be the exact same modification he did himself. Since the code is identical, he has no problem.
You mean default "keyword" at box which visitor no need to type. it it is, that's against adsense TOS
