Adsense for Search CTR around 12-19%!!

Recently we were approached by one of our client saying that his High Traffic website gets around 12-19% CTR in Adsense for Search
whereas, Adsense for content is around 3%

It has been like this for the past 4-5 months & is currently getting paid.So it seems to be not an issue with Google.

We dont have much experience in Adsense ,so posing this question to your guys .Have u experienced high CTR in Adsense for Search & Is it normal?

 

I personally think Adsense for search is awesome because the ads are placed in great positions and the user often clicks on them instead of the content since people naturally click the first result of the search (Which is often ads).

 

long as its organic traffic who cares what the percent is shouldnt be a problem i wouldnt think.

 

yes dont sorry about , my adsense for seach ctr is 75% to 90% , and google is paying me from 3months the ads are placed nicely so ppl do tend to click them

Yeah, it appears to be normal, mine is consistently higher than the Ads CTR is.

 

My adsense for content CTR is 33% - 40%. I think 19% is normal.
