Hi, In Adsense for content I set up channels by putting in the site's URL then the stats are for every page of the site, not just the home page. I set up a channel in Adsense for search and enter the URL of the home page but it seems like the stats are only for searches done from the home page. Is there a way to make my Adsense for search channels work the same way as the Adsense for content ones do? Thanks, Matt
Matt, If you have a search channel & the channel report will be for all the searches made through that search form - irrespective of the url/s you mentioned in the search urls. BTW how do you figure out that the stats are only for searches done from the home page?
Well I have Adsense for search on only 1 site, just put it on a few days ago. I set up a channel for the URL that it is on. The reports show some queries/clicks etc. coming from that channel, and also a bunch that aren't tracked by a channel. If I take the search box off of the site then there will be no more queries or clicks at all because they are all coming from that site. That is why I think the channel is only tracking the home page.
I was just thinking... those extra stats that aren't in the channel could be searches that were done after the initial one from my site... If that is the case though, then I wish they would be tracked under that channel still :/
