Adsense for Search: any good?

I have noticed that the adsense for search for my site was no more than 0.7% of the total earnings last month! I have adsense for search on most of the sites and in visible locations. Is this normal or should I change something?

Adsense for Search really doesn't pay as much as regular ads but it's extra income. :)

It doesn't hurt to have and it allows you to have a search your site feature, so its not bad.

Adsense for search revenue depends on your layout and visitor's experience.
If your ctr is too low (less than 2% roughly) then i think you should put something else to fill the space. :)

It's not much extra income. Not many use it. It draws about 0.5% of my income.

Thank you guys. So, I believe that this 0.7% is pretty high for the 0.5%! :) I will remove the search boxes and, yes, fill the space with something useful.

On a somewhat related note, i like that you can keep the searchers on your own site now. That's pretty nifty...

Yes, remove adsense search. Just fill that space with regular ads or promote a relevant campaign from an affiliate program.
