AdSense for domains

    Hi there,

I have a quick question that only needs a yes/no answer. I have a blog that's getting its pages indexed every 6 hours roughly (where there's new content), so if I let loads of pages get indexed and then in, say, half a years time decide to delete the site and put adsense for domains on it, would it be allowed? The traffic would come from Google.

Just needs a yes/no answer but you can elaborate if you want... thanks.

Yes. Also note that once you move to Adsense for Domains then don't do any sort of promotion with live links since I believe that it will be against Google terms and conditions.

Yes, I did this with one of my sites and it was approved by AFD before I switched it over.

    Thanks for your input.

Ah so once I've switched it, no more building backlinks/promotion... got it, thanks very much.

    Great thanks!

search engine will remove your links when you divert u r url to AFD but if you have other referral traffic source its against adsense tos

yes, but your traffic will dye out anyway, since it will get out of index soon.

This is called "Traffic from previous development" and it's ok with AFD, but you can't build any new links or new traffic to it. Traffic from old backlinks is ok.

Thanks for your post. I'm unsure whether I should sell it, bung AFD sometime or stick adsense fc on it... not sure if the last one is allowed.

If I were you, I'd try to sell the website first and if it doesn't get a lot of bids you want (for example low-bids) than just close the auction and put AFD on it. It might be better than nothing ;)

Let us know if it turned out well! :D
