I've bought a couple of domains here and there and was wondering if Google Adsense for Domains was really worth trying. Can anyone please give their experience on using this type of marketing?

this will work if you have a great popularity for your domain and so if any newbie visits your site , then they will click on your ads continously ,,,,

they'd have to be pretty keyword rich domain names otherwise no one will find them

unless you have existing traffic I urge you to reconsider using this platform, I tested 2 keyword domains and they were deindexed quick. The earnings are there, but there's no way to optimize for search engines.

I use adsense for domain on some of my parked domain, i cant really get a good earning.
The problem is very hard to generate targeted traffic to non-content site, so i stick on adsense for content

Adsense for domains can only work for extremely keyword rich domains. Basically the kind of domains that were bought years ago in the days of cyber-squatting. Domain names like Vodka.com or computers.com would probably make a killikng but i can't see it doing anything much for long-tail domain names.

Also how can you get traffic to just a domain, if you can't optimize it for search engines?

I guess it could work if you had thousands of different domain names at your disposal... but would it really? Who puts in URLs directly into their browsers nowadays? Not many people I would imagine.

But if anyone has cracked the AdSense for domains puzzle, let us know.
