    Hello Guys,

I have a new webmaster and webdevelopment blog called SilentGun and I am currently looking at different revenue generating alternatives.

Do you think adsense is the best option for a webmaster blog ?

Are there any other viable alternatives ?

What do you think are additional revenue generation methods in addition to adsense ?

I would also appreciate your placement tips for adsense banners. I feel that webmasters are one of the groups which click on the ads the least since they are from the "business" and do not pay much attention to ads.

Thanks in advance for all your comments and suggestions.

    Best Regards,

Yes, your audience is really not good for CTR.
You should use adsense anyway because the CPC will be fine enough. Just don't put many, no need too as they'll be ignored anyway. Just put one or two blocks, so that the most paying ads will show, just in case someone feels like clicking on them.
Also try affiliates programs related to webmasters, I think it will be more in this that you'll be able to make money.
Also mix with infolinks/kontera and CPM ads. Try to direct sell ad space too. And just focus on your content once everything is set up.
