Adsense font size.

I saw this thread posted here before but had a heck of a time trying to find it.

What is the text size that adsense use? Arial, 12? or Arial, 10?

Right click on the ad unit and view the source. I think each ad unit size has different font sizes.

Nah don't worry about it, it's not a stupid question. All the information you want will be in the CSS, you'll just have to match up the classes and find out which ones do what. Shouldn't be too hard.

 

Posting questions is research! I think you should always ask if you don't know. It beats staring at the computer for hours and still not accomplishing what you are trying to do.

 

Try copying and pasting the ad and formatting your text like that. Thats how I do it.

 

Sorry for bringing up an old(ish) thread, but is it acceptable to change the default font size of adsense ads? I see a lot of sites with 10px font but my ads are showing up with 11-12px....doesnt look nice. Is it against TOS to change font?

 

Yes, it definitely is against the TOS, NEVER CHANGE THE ADSENSE CODE. But do you know that the fonts and fontsizes of the Adsense ads are not always the same?

For the 'horizontal' ads and rectangles Adsense uses Verdana, and for the 'vertical' banners Adsense uses Arial/Serif/Helvetica.

 

yea, play around with the different ad formats to find what's best.
