They have always been a big supporter of firefox. Their real motivation is the toolbar though. Each user of their search engine is worth good money to them. Paying $1 to get them over is a small price to pay.
I suspect they have intentionally not done that to try and limit the ability to spam the links everywhere. Just a guess...
I found this out too ... you guys were even faster! I wonder any problem with my way of doing? Please correct me if it was unproper :Adsense Bubble Can anyone attach me the screen after click? thanks alot ...
Best viewed by Firefox refers to the referral banners for google: They are transparent in Firefox but not in IE... such a shame!
For those who have put to referral for Adsense, the button appeared right after putting it on the site? Mine is taking to long to show up... EDIT: It was my firewall ad-blocking that was doing that... But should it do that? I always see the google ads on every sites, isn't this referral button the same kind of code?
I noticed it is UP TO $1 per referral, NOT $1 per referral. How much less does international downloaders get?
by the time they decide international users to use the firefox referral... we'll be getting like a cent per installation :/ *duh sorry, i meant to edit my last post not to post twice*
Anyone managed to get the referal button to work as a default for AdSense? Nothing shows up when I try do use it.
The referral buttons are very poorly done imo. The text are not sharp enough, the corners are jagged. The shadow is horrible. A text link option would be very welcomed. However, I don't see myself using this feature. I can already envisage DP members pming each other referring their new sites to each other in exchange for backlinks to the new site. I don't think there is anything wrong with that as most DP members are experienced webmasters with content sites. What we don't want is to have every site under the sun displaying the referral link inviting lots of incompetent site causing unnecessary keywords competition.
