Hi all, I have adsense on one of my sites and the traffic is 99% US. Now i live in the UK and alot of the ads that are showing up are UK based ads I have changed my language in adsense to English US but the ads are still coming up as UK ads. Is there anyway i can set a filter or something so that only US ads are shown???
If you want to change the language of your ads then go to your adsense account and get new ads code and select language as English. And for your second question that how to filter the ads just to show up as US ads i think google adsense has some good compatibility of ads and if your visitor is from US he will see US ads or ads related to your site.And if at the same time a UK visitor opens your site he wil see ads other then US visitor.So two visitors will see different ads at different locations.So you can't filter ads just for a single country. But still if you want to get it , i will suggest you to sign inn to your account and go to referral and select referrals just for US visitors only and you will get only US ads.THanks Hope it will help.
I think you are seeing from U.K ip it will show u.k ads only. Ask your friends in u.s what ads are showing on your site. Or Just Set to u.s ip and see which ads are showing.
Visitors from US will see ads targeted for US only. You can check what ads are appearing for US visitors by going through a US proxy, though its not recommended.
