Hi there,

I thought I share one of my experience. I have site that get's a lot of traffic through Goolge Image search. Well, not what the site was setup for...but I put Google ads on it and got some clicks...well not much and I tried a number of alternatives. Guess what..?? They payout was miserable ...not worth to try... I got back to Adsense...optimised it and make ~$10 with this one site alone... I stick with Adsense...!

have one question regarding adsense rules

how many ad blocks are allowed on page?

for example is it good -> 3 ad unit + 2 link unit ? on another forum i read, that 4-5 ad (adsense) blocks on the same page it's breaking adsense guidelines.

any advice will be appreciated

 

I have a webproxy ( have had to park it now ) it was getting 7k unique a day in the end i adsensed it etc but was getting a couple of dollars a day - cant see that adsense works.

 

Traffic is the most important item to get first. More traffic will drive more adsenses $ to you.

 

How much are you guys making on a daily basis?

 

a quick question, can adsense be used on an all flash website? I have a feeling you can't, but hearing it now out of anyone will be helpful. Thanks in advance

ridzmas, the way to make money via adsense is driving traffic to your site and to drive traffic to your site you need backlinks - and a lot of them. Basically, backlinks will determine your page rank. Also refrain from getting links from or linking out to "bad neighborhood" websites.

So what I am seeing here is that noone really makes appreciable money with AdSense.

seems like a whole lot of work for a very small return. Might be good for a really big outfit that would benefit thru sheer volume but for the average Joe, one person setup... correct me if I am wrong, please!

 

People should realize that making money with Adsense takes time. I have done well with their product referrals such as Firefox w/Google toolbar. Demo at GetMyFirefox.com

 

I put some refferals related to 'college' and 'school' on my proxy website but they won't show up. Instead of the refferals I picked some other crappy ads show up. What am I doing wrong?

what that mean that Any website should not display Google ads on web pages with content protected by copyright law unless they have the necessary legal rights . what's apply to all of us who use adsense!
BUT i don't understand who youtube (with a lot videos illegal ) display adsense and Google does not even care about that

 

Google is the boss and Google owns Youtube, so it is ok for them but not for their publishers.

 

Google bought Youtube sometime ago.

 

Well put with much info. Webmasters need to understand and or ban together to understand that there are alternatives that pay, if not just as well as Google. Admist to webmasters, not matter how offended there are alternatives as listed in bazitas post that can help make your website attractive with not equal or just as much as Google Adsens profit for the average webmaster.
