I have a newbie question that I couldn't see the answer for on there.

I want to add more sites to my portfolio, do I just put my standard adsense code in them and create a new url channel to monitor the stats and that's it or do I have to register the site somewhere else on Adsense?

 

if u put standard code, mean all you sites monitor by same(one) channel. if u want to monitor u sites separately u have to create another(different) channel. e.g hobby, computer, gadget etc.

 

I am associated with AdSense since last 1.5 years... One thing I still fail to understand is - how AdSense calculates which click gets how many dollars, and how to get high-paying ads...

I may sound like a moron, but please help me...

Clicks from USA, UK pay better.
If your site is SmartPriced you will get paid less.

 

Hi. My first post is to say thanks for the Adsense FAQ's. So, thanks.

Also, I could have missed it as I didn't read all the replys to the FAQ but, Google now allows up to three link units per page along with the three ad units. (resource: google adsense program policy.)

All very well and good if you know what you did, and if something like what happened to you happened to me, I not only wouldn't have known to warn google it was coming, I wouldn't have known why they were banning me after it happened.

As it was, I was banned for "click fraud" but I genuinely have no idea why. And because google won't tell me, under the guise of revealing their deepest secrets, I can't defend myself or even explain what happened and why. You have better treatment in China where at least they tell you what you are to confess before they execute you.

Without going into my bona fides, I think I'm at least as jealous of my good name as google. I've certainly been at it longer. Way longer, if the date on my birth certificate means anything. And it pi... uh, irks me more to have been banned for "bad behavior" in something than any actual potential income lost.

They didn't even respond to my offer to return all earnings I had ever received from them (well, OK, it wasn't that much, only just over $200 because I had just started), even without being reinstated. And with no address, I had nowhere to send the check.

And to everyone who has posted with snide comments about people being upset over having been banned by google: sometimes when the cop pulls you over, you really don't know how fast you were going. But at least in that case, the cop told you more than "Yo' in a heap o' trubble, boy."

 

How posting in this forum helps me to earn more from google adsense? How do i know if I earned any amount from participating in this forum?

 

Can any one disagree with me that those revenue-benefited-person and no-benefited-persons ratio would be 1:1000? I am talking about individuals only.

 

Why google insists link with gmail a/c to adsense as mandatory.

I have an account wiht adsense but i dont know how to use it. I understand the concept but i dont know how to crate website thats my problem. how to create a website and how to host it ??? Is there any free webhosting sites ??
if i get that one. How to create that one ? and how to select the best topic ? the google is really paying the amount for these guys ? Is it fact ? we are really getting the checks from google ?? pl reply with relavant answers ? I will be waiting for ur replies ?? Pl yaar..

I suggest starting with blogger.com to make your own free website and then you can go from there.

 

Over the last few months, my EPC on most of my sites have dropped to 1.5-2 cents... this is on sites that used to be at 10 cents. Should there be any reason for this?
