Adsense failure for forum/board related pages

I have small board related to photography. I am not sure if I am right or wrong, but what I have observed is adsense always fails to get ads for new posts. After few days (or may be page/post impression) I see ads coming on it.

Its lot frustating because new content (posts) is the one which generates lot more page/post views.

Am I missing something? A typical new post on board (forum) looks like http://www.domainxyz.com/viewtopic.php?p=999

    Please help

New posts have not had a chance for google to spider yet.

After about 3 replies or views the ads will start to kick in. In larger forums, it might be after initial posting.

Also, for better contextual and clickthrough rate - place the adsense higher on the page. That might help to kick start them as well.

I don't with the targetting commands, I did some tests on my forums, and I got specific targetted ads as soon as I refreshed. Of course the media partner spider visits me like a bad std... As soon as a page has new content on it with an ad the media bot is there.
