Adsense facing no comepetitors?

    Hi isn't it strange that in all the billion dollars industry, adsense is the only one facing no real competitors? What do you think the reason is? Is it hard to start a pay per click company?

    True. I still don't get why there is not at least one pay per click company just like Adsense, some companies like Adbrite have a huge advertiser base, but they would have to change their business model.
    Hopefully, as online advertising grows, we might be able to see another PPC program like adsense. As I said before, it's very related to their advertiser base.

    The only real competition they have is webmasters selling ads privately.

    They have been working hard at eliminating that source of competition. :(

    AdSense didn't improve one bit in the last few years.
    Still... no competition for some reason.
