Adsense / Facebook questions

    Hi all,

    I am thinking of creating a forum, and have $500- budget for advertising, what kinda of numbers could i expect to land on my site ?

    Have never purchased paid advertising before, and would like to get an idea of the numbers $500- would bring to my site and also the quality of the traffic / people that would register for my forums.

    You need to think about how you are going to monetize that traffic along with a SOLID reason for users to join your forum.

    i have a few topics in mind, still working out which one to run with, just a little concerned about whether $500- on adsense / facebook will bring enough traffic through or would i be better of buying paid articles in other peoples sites, links and what not.

    OK I think you need to first focus on your topic. That's the most important thing. Besides driving traffic doesn't matter unless you convert them to registered users. If your forum is IM related you should get some people from DP.
