I have a website that has both adsense and OpenX as a banner program. prior to OpenX being installed I had a CTR of around 1.5% and was making about 6 cents per click. After OpenX (and adding additional adsense blocks as defaults) my CTR rose to over 7% but my earnings dropped to 1.5 cents per click. I need someone to help me out here and help me optimize the revenue earning potential on my website. Thank you
i think it's your keyword that's affecting your earnings before you have more expensive keyword but lower CTR that's normally the case cause they filter out many factors Origin of the IP Clicks and country geo location etc. now you have cheaper ads displayed due to maybe you have edited a part of your site while setting up the new banner and the keyword has changed. cheap keywords normally don't filter out locations origin etc.. you may want to change your sites keyword
