Adsense EFT Transfer in Middle East

hey, im one of the adsense publishers in the middle east..Im really finding it a hassle to receive a check after one month, and it takes another month for my bank to send the money to CitiBank in New York to transact the money and send them back to lebanon.

So i am wondering when the EFT option for adsense will be activated for middle east countries like lebaon and dubai, cuz it would definately make things easier for me

It takes twice as long to recieve and process the cheque in the middle east because your earnings are worth twice as much.

On a serious note, I am interested in how many USD $ equals a reasonable standard of living where you are and others on these boards. I believe some are cashing in big-style with those AdSense dollars and laughing themselves to sleep every night.

Please excuse any ignorance in my post if you find any, I'm just curious.

Well, allow me say (country:Indonesia):
Standard payment of employee like me, with 3 years experience in appropriate field in a national company (not a foreign company) is about US$ 300, manager would be about US$500 in maximum (if they don't cheat ). Right now $5-7/day is good enough to make a living. While my adsense earning average per month is US$ 600-900, so my earning/month is sufficient for 3- 4 month living.
I'm trying hard to make my earning like an army general (about $3000/month)

Standard wage in the UK for an un-skilled job in my town would be $75 per day, and that's JUST enough to live on. Certainly NO luxuries and serious budgetting would be required to survive on that.. in a shitty small house too that would be.

For me to live how I'd like here in the UK, with ample 'safety money' given the game we're in here.. I'm chasing $500 per day, damn it. Where's my plane ticket to Indonesia.

Ha Ha...ya it's ALMOST true...with the conversion rate and cost of living index, you can make surely make living out of adsense. Though I have just joined adsense to get some money and buy some online books but I know ppl who are living like kings.Though no islands for u in India :

 

It sounds like making a living off AdSense in Indonesia and such places is like talking a walk in the park compared to the dollars the Americans and us Brits have to rake in.

Well I live in the middle east in Lebanon and it is not as cheap as you think. I make around $1500/month and it is barely enough so it is similar to what you mentioned about the UK...

 

Would any body tell us exactly the day of the month that the EFT reach its bank account

 

The day you shit your nickers in excitement and skippety-hop down to the bank to draw it out.

It takes around 30 days after the month end.

There s a thing called internet banking if you don t have it yet ... you can monitor it with no need to go to your bank
another thing wanna tell you ... Any one moves his ass the good way can make a very good income that can make saving of .. even if he lives in UK

I'll try set up my Internet banking tomorrow - is it possible to print money from it, then I won't need to go down to my bank. What a drain that is on my time. Hopefully I can make good way with AdSense and those savings. Man it's tough in the UK. Everything's so expensive.

Oh my.. taking what I earn now in my day job and moving to Indonesia sounds like a plan! How much do you figure it would cost to make me king of the country?

 

I live in India, Average payout to an engineer like me is 15000-20000 INR,
1 USD=47 INR

So with my business I make a ton.
am waiting to see when google is going to offer EFT for Indian banks. cheque delivery sucks man i takes almost 1 month to get cheques from google.
I remeber it took 1 n half months to get my PIN

 

My country = Malaysia. Not as cheap as Indonesia. I think my monthly AdSense can pay my cheap rent in this dirty house + 1 month supply of petrol.

My regular day job is as an engineer.

 

I usually salivate when people mentioning even $200 or $300 per month income because I know how much that will go around this Asian region. But $300 in USA or UK, can only get you that month's room rental, I suppose?

 

well here in australia.... $300us/m wouldnt even pay the petrol for the month...

I have to work 3 13hr shifts fri/sat/sun to be able to live, uni, have internet and survive....

i will be one happy civil engineer in a couple of years time...

 

Yeah, you'll be OK. Engineers in Western countries can earn a lot. I used to study in New York a few years ago. So I know how much US$300 can go. HEHE
