    $500 is not great earnings, a lot more is doable. Get lot of traffic and optimise ads. And use search function of DP forums, with it help you can earn $10000 a month easily:))

    Have a great blog with loads of traffic, unless you have many thousands of visitors per day at present then stop concentrating on adsense and get back to concentrate on the damn blog!

    You need tons of traffic, but not just any kind traffic. The most valuable traffic comes through search engines! SE traffic will give you better CTR than any other source of traffic!

    I actually saw a study from a big site about SE traffic and AdSense revenue (I'm sorry I can't remember which site it was).

    Anyway, they tracked their AdSense earnings from Google and Digg traffic. It turned out they made 3 times more money from Google traffic (not counting Yahoo!, MSN or any other SE traffic).
