Hello, I am worried about my adsense earning from one day to the next my CPC dropped from about .80-1.00 to a terrible .29 -.30 .... and it has since not gone up. This was sudden and from one day to the next. I have read on many threads something like this happens but it always somehow comes back up, it has been this way for me for about 2 weeks and its still the same way... Is there anything that I should be doing to speed up that process to go back up? Or is there anything that I could do to raise that CPC? My traffic has not gone down, in fact it has gone up about 25% since the sudden drop in earnings 2 weeks ago. Any help is appreciated thanks so much in advance!
i see it happen all the time. if i big site starts using your keywords it tends to make your site go down
check your Alexa ranking and traffic stats... has the traffic gone down at all in the past couple weeks? I notice this happened to me when my traffic took a dip and alexa ranking went down... google earnings also started to go down.
My daily traffic is 250 visitors but No click.. It is really annoying for me that no earning. I am happy with 6 or 7 clicks but no clicks.... What should I do...
Look at your stats. For instance in the US I may get .56 per click. In Canada it may be .80 per click while in Australia it may be $1.05 per click. Now I may have a lot of visits from the US but not Canada or Australia. So I may get 300 clicks from the States but only 5 to 10 from AUS and CAN. Now factor in all the other countries where I get lots of pageviews and a lot of clicks but combined and they are all under .17 per click. I get mabye 1500 clicks a day from countries that pay .17 to .01. This of course brings my CTR for the whole day down to .13 to .18. Sounds pretty low! The thing is this I am getting a lot of clicks. Most are under .17 but I am still getting .50 to 1.00 in the US, Australia, Canada, UK and a lot more countries. Those little shit clicks as I call them...really add up
Well I am doing at 9 to 8 jobs and just managing to earn $ 400 per month as writer. What difference it can make !!! Anyways coming back to the point. Is Google trying to take the advantage of very much large published of Adsense and less competition from other existing big competitors? What would these results in long term signifies
As someone mentioned - you are being smart priced, this is where the spastics that preach about high priced keywords are screwed - anyone, any site, any keyword can be smart priced... this happens when you send them shit traffic which is generally based on the location of your visitors... the next step after this is a ban from Adsense... so you'd better pick up the game and drop any shady traffic practices that you may be using, only rely on search engine traffic... don't use any traffic exchanges, safelists, spam or such things...
