Hi, i am having a website which earns me $300+ everymonth and it is 5 month old and the adsense earnings from the first is may - $20.21 june -$95.6 july - $253.85 August - $ 205.98 till august 15th If i have to sell this, can anybody who are experts in domain sales can tell me as to how much can i sell my website for?? And where is the correct place to sell this website... thanks
You might be able to get 6 to 12 (MAX) months revenue. It is hard to say as it is pretty new and only recently has your revenue increased. I'd be possibly interested in buying it however - PM me the URL. Also... You could sell it on DP Site sales forum - there is also Flippa.com Loren
the earnings increased because, i started promoting the website with various seo techniques and i get 95% traffic from search engines only and 95% USA traffic.. The reason why i didnt promote it initially was since its a new website and if i start promoting it then my site would be suspected by google and so i promoted it slowly and now am stable with google and also witht he earnings.
is that so that a site is valued by 10 times of the adsense earnings.. i have many sites which is earnings decent amount and different amounts form adsense. like $30pm, $55pm and so on, so is that so that my site is valued around $300 if the earnings was $30pm.??
Hello Tenalikh, That's really nice earning on a new site, how much are you looking for it and provide me ur URL
If you ever decide to sell it, and if you're earnings are consistent (you'll probably need to keep it some more time so you can prove the revenue isn't dropping and SE rankings are solid), don't ever sell below 2 years of revenue unless you need urgent cash. Depending on who you're selling to, you might get even 3 years of revenue for more serious income websites. Domains that sell based on parking revenue are also sold in the 2-3 years of average monthly revenue mostly. I personally wouldn't sell a consistent revenue website for less than 2 years of revenue. That's a good deal if you ask me, a re-seller can easily flip it later for the same amount or even more, plus keep the revenue it made in the meantime. Do a google search for "buying sites/domains with revenue" and contact potential interested parties. Sell to someone who already has experience when it comes to flipping domains/websites, you'll earn far more than selling to someone who simply wants to invest in a money making website paying 6-7 months of revenue. Domain aftermarkets are also good places to check when selling revenue websites.
have you ever been to flippa? Even sites earning 80 to 100k a year sell for under 2 years revenue.... good luck w/ that...
@LTY83 Give me an example? 100K a year pure profit site selling for 6-12 months of revenue? I highly doubt it... What's the point of selling for 6-7 months of revenue? I imagine someone selling for less than a year just to exit until everything goes down... Other than that you would be a fool to sell a 100K pure profit a year website for 100K or better yet 6 months of revenue that's $50K.. I mean, would you sell it or keep it for another 6 months? And another, and another, until a good offer comes around and you decide to exit and work on something else. Flippa is a joke, there are dozens of better aftermarkets out there. And hundreds of potential investors that might decide to purchase your site for more than a year of revenue. Don't just list at flippa automatically, do some re-search and you'll earn more. IMO...

I have a few friends who've sold big dollar sites, $400k, $500k sales.... all for around 2 years revenue - i've only seen 1 sell at 3 years.... my point is, most "made for adsense" sites aren't going to sell for more than 12 to 16 months of revenue unless they are doing HUGGEEE revenue - there is no way any intelligent person will pay 2 to 3 years of revenue to someone who has a site w/ earning historys only going back like 4 or 5 months
I agree, rock solid proofs needs to be provided in order to make a good deal for both buyer and seller. There are bunch of other factors involved, the competition, how much time and money goes into SEO/promotion, how much into content, maintenance etc.. 4-5 months is just too little time to make any serious offer. Plus we don't know anything about the actual website so can't really tell him anything detailed. Maybe there's duplicate content involved, maybe his adsense account gets banned because of something, like I said, lot's of factors involved..
I have a network of sites in the same niche that net 6k /month - if you can find someone to buy at 3 years or more i will give you $20,000
