Only for information i report a strange think that is happening to my adsense earnings... I don't know... but it seem to me that GG apply a limiter to my earnings...in the last months i increase my traffic, find new good niche and start new sites ... ok i can see a little fluctuations in the earnings but not how expected..someday is still very bad...even with a lot of traffic and many more clicks than before... So i thought that maybe GG can make a variation of the part of the earning that he give to pubblishers...ok he can do it, we don't know how % of income he give to us so it can change this % if some pubblisher increase a lot his earning. GG gain more and we stay in the middle... What di u think? have u ever suspect that ? WMG
There's no "earnings limiter" for Adsense. If advertisers are bidding less on keywords in your market your earnings will drop...or possibly stay flat if you increase traffic & CTR.
Also, the more traffic you get, a larger variety of ads will be displayed - some of those ads are likely to pay less per click.
No limitation whatsoever, except that if you really make over a certain monthly sum, a human operator will double check your website, for any ilegallities. If you come Ok, you'll receive your earned money
G pay an estimated 40-60% of whatever they make. Maybe it was at let said 50% and was reduced to 40% but this will not limit your potential earnings.
The biggest limiter to earnings I have had, is 'smart pricing' I went from 4 websites to 7, and my overall earnings went down...... every since 'smart pricing' started
Keep in mind - September is the last month of the quarter, and for many, the end of the fiscal year. Many companies have exhausted their marketing budgets. Give it 2 more weeks, and most should see earnings rise again.
Hope, that comes true... Any more seasonal earnings period, one can think of... ( keyword - season ) List? Abhilash.
Very good point, never even thought about that. But wouldn't most companies have an annual budget and break it down month to month? Companies that are having a good month/year may be even able to increase their budgets as long as the ROI is there.
Well, it would seem Chi-Town cornered the market on this answer - great points from GuyFromChicago and JoeyChgo. Wouldn't ya know, two guys from Capone (aka Cook) County Illinois would know about making money from someone else (I used to live in IL so may be an 'inside' joke for those unfamiliar) Traffic can go up, but that doesn't mean more CTR. Keep in mind also, that with new pages being added, content changes, etc. some of that "new" traffic may simply have been bots - no CTR there either. Also, what is being paid today for "x" term or ad could change tomorrow. I see this flux daily on my sites. Yesterday each click may have been worth .06 cents and today .54 ... too many variables to worry about. Personally, I try not to over-analyze it - I just keep doing all I can to build content rich pages, good links and optimize and modify content on a regular basis to keep things fresh and what $$ roll in from AdSense is great; somedays better than others, but again, I don't try to backwards engineer it and waste the time - moving forward to steal Toyota's new slogan. Good luck and happying earning.
hehe, good one So true. A new player (adwords user) came into a market I watch today. For the past few months I've earned about $1 - $3 per click in that niche - today clicks are in the high $xx.xx range. Pu the content out there and let the advertisers sort out the prices
