Seems like one day it's up the next it's down. Maybe the time of year. People have spent a lot of money on Christmas and are tapped out not as tuned into clicking on ads. Same goes for the economy. Many are strapped right now and not as interested in clicking on ads. Who knows though. It's always a guessing game that is always changing. Hopefully things pick up again soon.

The US recession is having an impact on advertsing budgets. We are in the process of working up the results of this for our year end reports. I will advise when we have completed the analysis, but the facts are in, and ad budgets are being cut. In turn, this means less $$$ per click in many areas.

Yeah, my earning have been consistently down for the last three months or so. Hoping it will pick up next year as well.

Well, I wrote about something I love but the pay is incredibly low. If you're in it to make money, look for a booming niche. If you're writing about something you enjoy, and money doesn't matter to you, then you won't care about Google. Indeed, Google is not the only way to monetize. Actually, with the low payouts, I don't even recommend that anyone rely on it a lot. I think it should be considered an extra.
