Is pretty weird now because last day I had a CTR 0.8 and now is 4.5 ... :| So I get 2 $ per click today..
Fortunately my earnings were dramatically up last month. Still to early to tell how this month will be but it looks like its going to be at least as good as last month.
Mine is slowly increasing. Nothing to write home about but my average daily earnings is climbing. Of course I've not paid attention to if it is climbing when averaged with the increase in traffic I've seen over time but the bottom line is growing.
Well, is good to know I'm not the only one suffering from a decrease in Adsense earnings...this economy is affecting everyone....
We have experienced a consistent increase in both visits and earnings until November 13 2008. Since then we have noticed an OVERNIGHT drop in stats: CTR dropped a full point. Clicks cut in half. eCPM down a dollar. These stats come with a continued increase in traffic, now over 125,000 daily (combined) impressions. Our earnings are down by over $1000.00 (USD) monthly with NO changes in content/keywords/ads etc... This was an overnight drop which has not recovered in a month, Also, our Adbrite earnings have NOT decreased or faltered at all. In fact, our Adbrite earnings are stronger now than ever. Wouldnt a bad economy effect the advertisers on Adbrite as well?!?
The only thing I noticed in november was my ctr went through the roof (increase by about 30%). My CTR is now getting lower and back to normal but my CPM is still the same for both months. So other than click through rate changing for the better than dropping back down more to normal, my CPM has always stayed the same. So don't see how you guys can be experiencing such a drop. It is probably just a coincidence that some are experiencing drops temporarily. And no a bad economy wouldn't effect adbrite since they just purely suck and don't pay more than pennies.
Well even now im experiencing a drop in the CPC. November was a great month, december started off good but slowly my earnings have dropped to now slightly below "normal" compared to 2 and 3 months ago. I think this is going to be a rough ride for everyone since I was like the last person to notice a drop in earnings, so if Im getting hurt now its gotta be looking bad for everyone.
