All of my site networks are facing same issue, ad placement, color, visitors are as they were in july but since aug -sept 2008 my earnings are going down and down.

Clicks are less but PPC also decrease 0.02% Anyone facing this problem

PPC, if you mean the Earnings Per Click is down by 0.02% well, 0.02% is not statistically significant. If you mean it's down by $0.02 that's still not very much. Same for CTR if that's down by 0.02% ie if you were getting 6%, being down by 0.02% still means 5.99+%

Yeah, i have the same problem.

I dont know why your problem arised but i think mine is because as follows

My homepage and some of the subpages(not all, and I couldnt find any pattern) are not showing adsense but only public ads or no ad at all.
So even my visitors are going up, my earnigs went down for a significant percentage, less than a half.

I post a thread for this.

Like all things, some people are up, some people are down. Lot probably depends on the types of advertisers targeting specific types of content. The drop is not universal, though.

aug was bad but sept is too much for example if i got 0.05$ per click now i am getting only 0.03$ so around 0.02$ each click has been dropped why .... don't know i have a big question mark at my face.

I'm going through the same hardship... Your epc curve and mine are alike.

    I also have a network.

I doubt it is smart-pricing because sites with different topics are equally concerned.

So either there is a new penalty for accounts used on a network of sites,
or Adsense is skimming (or ad spending are decreasing faster than expected due to the economic downturn?)...

All, keep in mind that a new financial quarter started October 1 with alot of those companies who advertise online moving forward with new quarterly advertising budgets. Since Q3 earnings for many public companies declined, especially in the financial services space, they are collectively tightening their belts.

Because online advertising typically does not have long contract terms like TV or Radio advertising, my guess is that companies are cutting back where they contractually can. Short-term, that means online advertising. However, I believe that as we get into next year and those offline advertising contracts come up for renewal, we will see a shift of dollars from offline to online, benefitting online publishers.

    Just my thoughts.

I thought it was just me, i am used to averaging $25-$30 per day and have averaged under $10 for the past few days with a drop in CPC. I am in the mortgage niche so its hard to say whats going on. I also have a life insurance site that is doing great!

When i check my sites i see normal ads not the public service ads.
