Adsense earnings are quit low.

The adsense earnings are very low of my site.my friend says the theme is ugly and they told me to change it. But i want some suggestion from dp members as what should i do to increase the adsense revenue.

should i change the theme or customize the adsense html.
I would also like to know how do i strecth the adsense width.

I did try to increase the width but the block is showing the same size.
I want the ad to look like a paragraph.

 

It does not necessary to switch your current theme to html because it does not help. I think you should redefine the current theme and color and font to make them more appealing. You should also check for keyword and your displaying ads relevancy too. It could help you gain more per a click.

ad placement can be crucial and it takes abit of playing about, trial and error basically. Blocking low paying ads can help also.

There doesn't seem to be any specific theme which you have based your website on. In that case you will probably get general unspecific ads delivered to your site. From herbal remedies, skin care tips to loan advice it seems that you're covering far too many topics at once. Your CTRs will definitely be low because your ads will lack relevancy.

My advice would be to focus the theme of your site, possibly to one that attracts high paying AdSense ads.

Although theme is important on every site but it's not a big issue when it comes to adsense. You just need to gain more traffic in order to earn good income in adsense.
