I've heard about some people having their adsense earnings going down before but I changed strategy and placement of adsense after that and my earnings actually went up around 50-60% but this month instead of keep raising as it has been in the past 5 months my earnings are down and in some days i get 10clicks worth $2.09 total. My earnings are going down, my filter is updated, placement is good but the earnings are simply poor. Does anyone have this problem?
earnings are always going to go up and down.. last month was horrible for me, but this month it's back to normal - and the other day one page that usually earns only a few cents per day generated almost $30 with only a couple of clicks! I personally do not subscribe to the "filter" theory - IMHO that just blocks higher paying ads..
My eCPM for June was down 37% from the average eCPM from Dec 2006 to May 2007. Unfortunately, there is no improvement this month. So far my July eCPM is down 44% from the Dec-May period. I have over 100 MFA, irrelevant and poor performing sites on my competitive ad filter. In theory, that should hurt my earnings, but every time I ban MFA sites my revenue increases. Go figure.
I've been using Adsense for 4 years and there are ups and downs all the time. I'm currently up but had been down for a few months previously. I don't worry about it because there's nothing I can do.
I think all ppc revenue that earns the publisher decreases.... Yet, I wonder if publishers are spending less as well, I guess not.
I think it pretty has remained the same in terms of overall cpc for as long as I have been with adsense. Its remarkably consistent in that regard.
the last month for me was just normal... this month earnings on a few sites went up 2x I hope it stays this way for a little bit longer
My eCPM has gone down drastically over the last months. It seems like if I get more traffic, more clicks then eCPM goes down. Kinda' strange that the dollar amount stays the same, even if the clicks go up and hits go up......
i totally agree, hope this negative trend doesnt continue long...my rev's have gone down steady 20% over monmths
if there is a particular ad that keeps on showing and was paying good now the same ads continues to show but you make less, block it. you have been smart priced. unblock it after a week or so.
It appears that the downward trend applies to more people than not...... It would be a good time to develop other streams of income on the internet to offset this trend..... Hope that it does improve for all. Jack
