Adsense & dynamic websites - how to tweak?

    Okay,

I've read plenty of advices to avoid dynamic content but I already have a dynamic site and want to make some revenue off of its user visits.

The site is an online service/tool. Most users have accounts which require login. I've gone to great lenghts to create complex logic that enables adsense bot to see the users' pages that are behind login. However, although I see the bot hit the site almost as many times as there are page hits (i.e. almost every time a page is viewed) I still have trouble getting ads to be very reactive to the user-specific dynamic content on the pages.

Some things I tried with limited success:
    * Adding relevant keyword(s) to the url (either page name or a variable). However, I am not always able to analyze user content and pick the right word so this is not very good for dynamic data.
    * I added a subset of user data to the url as a variable. Even when my algorithm gets the right keywords in there, this seems to stop working as the URL gets longer. Does anyone know what maximum portion of URL adsense login will consider? I've seen that they do look at variables but any details here - how many? how long? Anyone know anything about this? Doesn't hurt to mention that the only way to tell different users is by a variable in the url...

Is it at all possible to get Adsense to display completely different ads for pages with same URL but different variables?

I know it is illegal with regular google bot, but any ideas whether keyword seeding is illegial with adsense. For example, could I add a page keyword summary at the end of a page that is displayed only to the adsense bot?

Anyhow, I put down lots of ideas and questions but I'm really just looking to see whether someone's done much research on this and what others in similar situations have done?

Any help/pointers greatly appreciated. Many many thanks! (my adsense is becoming less and less targeted with the more users I get).

I'm not very much into this, but I would like to say a word of caution before you continue. Although Google has not specifically banned these practices for AdSense, they did ban them for many other products they have. Thus, I think it is most likely that they will ban it for AdSense as well, sooner or later. Therefor, I'd advice you not to pursue this, and rather spend your time building a site which will comply with all of Google's policies, both the written and the unwritten (or not yet written).
