    Hi guys ,
I'm not sure whats going on or how it works with adsense .. At beginning it was working fine for me , the clicks were with these values ( 0.95$ , 0.50$ ,0.20$ , 0.45$ and some times more then dollar ) .

Since 2 weeks or more the clicks are with very low values ( 0.02 cents , 0.05 or 0.10 )

now i have more daily clicks then before and i just get small return < the average of my clicks per day about 30 click and i get only 1.60 $ or around 2.00$ .. before the clicks average was less then 20 click and i rem i used to get more then 6$ or 7$ ... once i got 18$ .. now its very low return doesnot exceed 3.00$ since 2 weeks

My site contents are about banks and forex and these issues , why the clicks are very low ?

maybe it has something to do with the adsense algo?

there must be tons of website with similar content + keywords maybe the values of clicks are some what dependant on total impressions or unique ip addresses. if theres too much competition for your niche im guessing that effects your click value.

I believe that when Google doesn't have enough data to correctly understand your website, it guesses some of the variables and your earnings (more often than not) are more than what they settle in to once Google has enough data. Unfortunately a lot of people get used to seeing the inflated click prices and are in a rage when they drop to the norm.

I guess if there are high competition then the clicks goes higher cause of bidding right ?

by the way what page impressions means ? .. I mean the exact definition , i was thinking its the number that the google adv pages been refreshed ! .. im not sure ... any way the average of my page impressions are different from day to other .. its almost between 600 up to 1300 per day .... yesterday for example it was 1,083 page impression and 30 clicks ... and i got 3.10$

    Emz ,
Well, I checked the contents of adsense adv comparing to my web pages contents , they are all the same , so rare or almost never see adsense adv that doesnot match my contents

"A page view (PV) or page impression is a request to load a single page of an Internet site"

basically every time someone views your website/adsense ads that counts as an impression.im not sure how unique impressions effect the click rate though

cant do much about low paying ad's ive been seeing a flurry of ppl being effected by this, and im pretty sure its just going to get worse. a friends site which closely related to yours regularly gets 2 cent clicks :p for most publishers the 1$ clicks are long gone.
