Adsense dollar total chaning without clicks?

Hi guys,

I just saw something really weird happen. I was checking my adsense earning and saw I had X amount of clicks for XX.42. I left the page open and came back a bit later and checked again and I had the same amount of clicks, yet it was for XX.52. For some reason I gained 10 cents without any clicks.

It is really weird. Anyone else have any experience?

 

Nope, not wierd. I've had the same experience TONS of times.

Basically, you did get the same amount of clicks, but adsense did not calculate the earnings for the clicks YET. So, for that one or two clicks that did come up in your # of clicks did not come up in your Earnings, as Adsense was processing them.

 

It could have been impressions, however, that wouldn't make much sense since you came back just a bit later. Unless you received a ton of hits in between checking.

Haha, that makes a lot more sense than my idea, but atleast I tried.

 

What happened is, they gave you the first amount but it will be re-calculated twice before the end of the day.

This is normal function as they give you the right and correct amount of earn for that day
