Adsense doesn't show in a sidebar - am I doing something wrong?

    I am sure, it's very stupid question, but i've never monetized sites with adsence (we run in house affiliate program, but decided to monetize traffic on some of our properties, so be patient with me) :)

    So, I copied the adsence code to Text Widget area, sidebar (Wordpress). And it doesn't show.
    Am I doing something wrong?
